“Since two further generations became involved with the farming operation 6 years ago, there were different approaches to management. Having known Enable Ag’s great reputation from other farmers that we knew, and Red Meat Updates working group, we decided to get in touch with them.
In truth, when our Enable Ag’s coach (Ram) first came to meet with us, we thought it all sounded good but challenging. We remember saying we’re not quite sure exactly how it will go after that meeting, but, thankfully, we decided to proceed.

From then, the amount of change that has happened in such a short period of time is remarkable. Our business coach introduced us to some pretty cool applications that are very useful and have many applications. Many things went to a whole new level in terms of planning day to day work, planning projects, SOPs, sharing a platform for contractors, preparing for hiring staff, and all sorts of different things. Administrative tasks, especially auditing, now look more organised and streamlined. The program ultimately enabled us to have better communication among the family members involved in the farming operation.
Initially, it’s very hard to know what is actually in the program until you’re in the program. But it’s worth the leap of faith because it has so many benefits.
Our coach was very motivating, very energetic, patient, and disciplined. He encourages us to make a plan and stick with it. His enthusiasm is contagious and the fact that his expertise comes from industries outside agriculture to start with, really helps. He certainly hits the ground running!
